History: At the inception of HIGHLAND PARTNERS in April 2009, Adam Betta called upon Gray Cathrall to obtain his opinion about the possibility of creating a ‘Chamber of Commerce’ in Piedmont. The Partners of HIGHLAND PARTNERS, Heidi, Adam and Debbi threw around other ideas as well, like a concierge service. After launching Home & Lifestyle, A Community Resource Guide at the Art Center in May, 2012 it seemed that there was, in fact, an audience for such a group. This particular event included an art exhibit, light fare, wine and music by Shades of Gray. A table set up at the entrance with name tags allowed service providers to layout their brochures and marketing materials. Guests mixed and mingled for an hour prior to opening up the floor to guests to present a 3-minute presentation about their business. Following the event, attendees announced that they had made new connections and were referring one another. The format is likened to BNI group’s. Thank you Gray, for your support and encouragement!

Fondly,
